Every managed IT provider promises reliability. The difference shows up on the worst day, not the best one — when something breaks and you need answers fast.
Ask about response times, in writing
A real partner commits to service levels you can hold them to. Vague promises of being 'always available' are a red flag; defined response and resolution targets are a green one.
Security should be the default
Backups, access controls, patching, and monitoring should be part of the baseline service, not premium add-ons. If security is an upsell, keep looking.
